Top 5 Travel and Local Apps Performance in Sweden Q3 2021

In the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 travel and local apps in Sweden showed varied performance trends across downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at how each app fared according to Sensor Tower data.

EasyPark - Parking made easy experienced a steady, though fluctuating, download rate. Weekly downloads peaked at 32K in early August, followed by a decline, hitting a low of around 13K in mid-September, before slightly rebounding to 15.6K by the end of the quarter. Active users started at 101.8K at the beginning of Q3, peaked at 118K in mid-July, and then saw a gradual decline, closing the quarter at approximately 107K.

TIER Electric scooters showed a notable spike in weekly downloads in mid-July, reaching 36.9K, but this was followed by a steady decline to about 7K by the end of September. Active users also peaked in mid-July at around 63.8K and then gradually decreased, finishing the quarter at approximately 42.6K.

MobilPark maintained a more consistent download rate, with a peak of 18.8K in mid-July and a low of around 9.4K in mid-September, ending the quarter with a slight increase to 10.6K. Active users for MobilPark increased from 34.5K at the start of the quarter to a peak of 41.1K in mid-July, then experienced minor fluctuations, ending at around 34.4K.

Parkster - Smooth parking saw its highest weekly downloads in mid-July at 19.9K, which then tapered off to around 9K by mid-September, with a slight uptick to 10.1K by the end of the quarter. Active users peaked at 53.9K in mid-July and saw a gradual decline, ending the quarter at approximately 46.3K.

Liseberg had a significant peak in downloads in early August at 37.4K, but this was followed by a sharp decline, ending the quarter at about 5.2K. Active users reflected this trend, with a peak of 43.4K in early August and a subsequent decline to around 11.1K by the end of September.
